OCCUPY GOES RAD, MAD & THAT’S BAD
THERE ARE LAWS FOR THE COMMON GOOD. SOMETIMES THOSE LAWS MAY NOT SEEM THAT WAY. SOMETIMES, THEY’RE REALLY NOT FOR THE COMMON GOOD BUT, RATHER THE BENEFIT OF SOMEONE WITH DEEP POCKET CHANGE TO HELP FINANCE THE CAMPAIGN OF THEIR CONgressional REPRESENTATIVE.
THE OCCUPY WALL STREET SUBSIDIARY GROUP IN OAKLAND, CA. FOUND A VACANT BUILDING, AND DECIDED THEY WOULD TURN IT IN TO A FUNCTIONING COMMUNITY CENTER. IT IS A NICE THOUGHT BUT, THERE ARE LAWS.
THE LAWS ARE THERE TO PROVIDE FOR ORDERLY OCCUPANCY OF THE BUILDING. EVEN IN A ‘FREE’ SOCIETY THERE ARE LAWS TO KEEP ORDER.
IF IT IS PRIVATELY OWNED, THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT TO INVADE PRIVATE PROPERTY. IF IT IS GOVERNMENT OWNED, WE LITERALLY ALL HAVE A STAKE IN THE PROPERTY. THERE ARE STILL LAWS PROVIDING FOR THE OCCUPANCY OF THE BUILDING.
IN THIS CONTEXT, THERE SHOULD BE LAWS TO PROVIDE FOR NON-PROFIT USE OF ANY VACATED ‘GOVERNMENT OWNED’ PROPERTY. THESE LAWS GIVE THE GOVERNMENT A 90 DAY TIME FRAME TO OCCUPY OR, COMMIT THE BUILDING TO THE FIRST PUBLIC GROUP CLAIMING THE PROPERTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE COMMON GOOD, AND MUST NOT RE-CLAIM THE BUILDING FOR OCCUPANCY UNTIL THE OCCUPYING ‘COMMON GOOD’ OCCUPIER HAS VOLUNTARILY WITHDRAWN USE OR, 12 YEARS, WHICHEVER ARRIVES FIRST.
THE GOVERNMENT WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MEETING BUILDING CODES UPON INITIAL OCCUPANCY OF THE BUILDING BY, THE NON-PROFIT GROUP. THE OCCUPIER WOULD BE REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN THE STRUCTURE TO ALL CURRENT BUILDING CODES.
I HOPE THE OCCUPY MOVEMENT RECOGNIZES THE NECESSITY FOR LAWS GOVERNING A FREE SOCIETY. THIS IS NOT A ‘FREE-FOR-ALL-SOCIETY.’ IN A FREE SOCIETY, YOU DON’T JUST GET TO ‘DO YOUR THING.’
THERE ARE BASIC RIGHTS, SPELLED OUT IN THE CONSTITUTION TO DEFINE OUR FREEDOM. IT REQUIRES THAT DEFINITION BECAUSE, WITHOUT IT, WE WOULD BE A BARBARIC, FREE-FOR-ALL SOCIETY. THE UNITED STATES IS NOT AN ANARCHY
UNFORTUNATELY, WE CAN’T TAKE IT FOR GRANTED THAT EVERYONE WILL ACT WITH THE HIGHEST SET OF ETHICS. IF THAT WAS HUMANLY POSSIBLE, THERE WOULD BE NO NEED FOR LAWS, AND WE WOULD HAVE FREEDOM IN THE MOST LITERAL SENSE OF THE WORD.
I HAVE SUPPORTED THE OCCUPY MOVEMENT FOR MANY OF THEIR OBJECTIVES, AND THEIR CONTINUAL EFFORT TO SHOW THE SHALLOW POOL OF ETHICS OUR ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES DROWN THEMSELVES AS THEY TAKE THE COUNTRY WITH THEM.
THE OAKLAND GROUP WAS CLEARLY OUTSIDE OF THE LAW, AND PROVOKED A RESPONSE FROM THOSE SWORN TO UPHOLD THE LAW. THEY NEED TO APOLOGIZE TO THE CITY, RE-GROUP, AND REORGANIZE FOR THE SAKE OF THEIR INITIAL OBJECTIVES.
I WOULD SUGGEST THE OCCUPY MOVEMENT RE-GROUP, AND RE-OCCUPY WITHIN THE CONFINES OF OUR LAWS, POSSIBLY BECOMING A PART OF THE LAW MAKING PROCESS FROM THE INSIDE, OUT. MAKE IT COUNT FOR SOMETHING. OCCUPY NO LONGER HAS TO LITERALLY OCCUPY. THAT POINT HAS BEEN MADE.
WHATEVER OCCUPY DOES AS A GROUP, I DON’T WANT THEM TO GO AWAY. I WANT THEM TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP. BECOME A POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE. PUT UP CANDIDATES. OCCUPY THAT WAY BECAUSE OCCUPY JUST MIGHT FIND THAT AS THE QUICKEST PATH TO ACHIEVING WHAT THEY SET OUT TO DO IN THE FIRST PLACE.
STAY ACTIVE AS A GROUP. MEET OFTEN. PLAN. KEEP POINTING OUT THE BREAKS, AND MORE SO, THE FIXES. BECOME A RESPECTED PART OF THE SOCIETY YOU WISH TO TAKE AN ACTIVE ROLE. DON’T STAND ON THE OUTSKIRTS.

BREAKING THE BROKE & BROKEN
OCCUPY WALL STREET CONTINUES TO OCCUPY, AND THE BROKE, AND BROKEN CONTINUE BREAKING.
THE OCCUPIERS HAVE THEIR OPPONENTS. THE OPPONENTS ARE, AND HAVE BEEN FOR YEARS ECHOING ONE SENTIMENT. IT IS THE ONE WE INDOCTRINATE OUR YOUNGEST CHILDREN WITH, FROM GRADE SCHOOL FORWARD. WE HAVE SUCCESSFULLY TRAINED THEM TO BELIEVE, THEY LIVE IN THE GREATEST FREE COUNTRY IN THE WORLD.
THE UNITED STATES WAS BUILT ON THAT PREMISE BUT, WE HAVE NOT MAINTAINED THE PROMISE OF THE PREMISE. THAT IS WHY OCCUPY WALL STREET IS OUT THERE. THEY, ALONG WITH MUCH OF THE POPULATION WANT RESTORATION.
IT IS THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT THAT HAS CHIPPED AWAY AT OUR BASIC MODEL. THEY HAVE VEERED FROM WHAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE, TO SOMETHING ELSE FAR FROM WHAT THE FOUNDERS HAD INTENDED.
SOME, WHO ARE THE ROBOT THINKERS OF OUR SOCIETY WANT EVERYONE BACK TO THAT GRADE SCHOOL INDOCTRINATION. THEY ARE INCENSED THAT YOU WOULD SAY ANYTHING OR, BELIEVE ANYTHING OTHER THAN THAT. TO THEM, WE ARE UN-AMERICAN. TO THEM, TO SUPPORT ANY POLITICAL PARTY OTHER THAN THEIRS, IS ALSO UN-AMERICAN.
OUR FOUNDER’S PAPERS, ALSO KNOWN AS THE U.S. CONSTITUTION IS DIVERSE TO THAT THOUGHT. IN FACT, IT SAYS, TO THE BOTTOM LINE, FREEDOM OF THOUGHT, AND PROTEST IS, AN AMERICAN RIGHT, THE AMERICAN WAY. THE RIGHT TO EXPRESS YOUR THOUGHTS REGARDING THE GOVERNMENT IS A MECHANISM TO KEEP THE GOVERNMENT FROM OVERREACHING, AND PREVENTING THE ULTIMATE RIGHTS GIVEN IN THE CONSTITUTION.
THE ROBOT THINKERS WOULD RATHER KEEP THEIR MINDS BURIED IN THE SAND. AFTER ALL, THIS IS THE UNITED STATES. JUST BECAUSE IT’S THE UNITED STATES, NOTHING’S WRONG. NOTHING WILL EVER GO WRONG, AND NOTHING NEEDS TO BE FIXED. IT IS, ACCORDING TO THEM, ALL THE REASONING YOU NEED TO KEEP YOUR MOUTHS SHUT. SOUNDS DICTATORIAL, AND VERY MUCH, UN-AMERICAN.
ALL OF THAT SAID, THE ROBOTS HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO FEEL AS THEY DO, AND SAY SO WITH ALL THE FERVOR THEY CAN MUSTER. IT IS, AFTER ALL, THE UNITED STATES.
THANK YOU TO THE ROBOTS, OCCUPY WALL STREET, AND ANYBODY ELSE WHO SPEAKS UP FOR KEEPING US ADVISED.

WILL THE WALL FALL…..AGAIN?
Maybe Occupy Wall Street is right. Maybe initial fault is with Wall Street for setting a standard. A standard that, if accepted would force business to become so selfish, the entire global economy would suffer.
Who said that standard had to be the acceptable standard? I guess all of business reverts to this standard.
The premise for the standard is, in example, a company profits $10 million, why not $12.5 million? If reached, why not $15 million? The cycle continues over, and over. There is never an end. Being continually profitable at the same level isn’t good enough, and earns mediocre grades.
Every year, the above example is right around $10million profit. The company had taken many years of growth to achieve that profit plateau. You can count on that company every year but, that isn’t good enough.
Each year, Wall Street is looking for growth. No plateau is good enough. Comparative earnings is a key factor in any arithmetic for the stock to fundamentally achieve an upward trend. Coming in at $9 million net profit following a year of 10 is unacceptable, and the company is held in contempt.
To continually earn more, a company has to go somewhere to reach an earnings increase, not only year after year but, it is scrutinized quarter to quarter.
So, what does the successful company do to achieve Wall Street’s expectations? Increase the price of their product or, service. Raid payroll. Raiding payroll begins at the bottom, up. By the time the top is reached, the compensation is still more than liveable.
Those earning the comfort for the top must sacrifice. The rising price spiral is now out of reach for many workers just trying to get by.
Those at the top receive a penalty in that they now pay more for a service or, goods to compensate for those no longer able to purchase as they once did.
Less sold at a bigger profit for each. It becomes harder to make the Wall Street expectations or, at minimum no different than before. Just as difficult but, in the process someone goes down.
Perhaps a plateau of earnings, each quarter, each year shows stability. Strength. There is profit to be had, and plenty of it. So what if one quarter the company profits $4 million, the next 3 followed by, 3.9 then, 3.25, and finally 4.5. What if that’s achieved without the price increases or, the payroll cutbacks?
Maybe Wall Street takes itself way too seriously with a boatload of mathematical indicators, and calculations beyond the necessity of figuring the profitability of a company.
Even then, private business has adapted the same criteria for success. Continually upward or, it’s not good enough.
The most successful businesses are before anything else, innovative. How do we take our product or, service, and stretch it down a new street? The focus is on forward not, on how to raid the existing company, and the employees responsible for the existing profit.
What if, Wall Street frowned on price increases, and payroll raids? What if, only successful innovation scored points? We would be at an unmatched economy motivated by, more successful people buying more products, and services.
We have come to accept these configurations as a way of life, and look where most of us are because of it. This is unacceptable!
The current path, by the numbers, is unsuccessful. Wall Street is on a losing streak.
A ‘Wall-Fall’ is possible for this, and many other reasons.

DIMINISHING DEMOCRACY
Do we live in a diminishing democracy? Have the mandates, and principles within the BillOf Rights, the entire Constitution, begun to fall?
Is it now okay for states, cities, and towns to circumvent America’s Constitutional principles with their own diverse laws? If it is, then it is a license to put the Constitution in the shredder.
Whether you agree with Occupy Wall Street or, not is irrelevant under our rights under the Constitution. They have the right to assemble in protest.
If you believe they do not have the right then, neither do we have that right. And if we don’t, what’s next? What articles of freedom are next to fall?
Only 45 – 50 years ago, we were to fear the Soviets of Russia, and a dictatorship. Why? No freedom, and we were the beacon of light to worldwide freedom. In Soviet Russia, the populous had no rights prescribed under a Constitution of Freedom as we have in the United States.
Are there no more refills on the prescription?

YOU DON’T HAVE TO JOIN THE COWARD CLUB
Working, and living paycheck to paycheck is ridiculous, and I shouldn’t have yo do it. Nobody should. Everyone should be able to work hard, and enjoy their leisure hours knowing there is enough money.
I’ve made it to zero, and retirement is only a few blocks away. I could curl up in to a little ball, find an open manhole cover, drop in for a permanent visit, and waste away. Bye-bye. OR;
I’ll take a route that suits me. How about I go to work, and do a good job? OR;
Go to work, do a good job knowing there are so many different avenues to travel to success, even while working.
For some, success comes later in life, and I am in that category. It’s obvious as it didn’t come earlier so, I will expect it at this time of life.
Expecting it, is not enough. It’s finding that avenue that is perfectly groomed, manhole covers in place, and finding just the exact spot to get out, and begin to work on that success. Yes, I deserve success. So, I’m going to have it.
As I have mentioned before, this country is approving new anti-labor legislation on a daily basis. I intend to show the coward employers who lobby for, and hide behind that legislation that, I will become a successful employer without embracing those laws set up by, the cowards, for the cowards.
That is why Occupy Wall Street bravely continues through the Winter. If they succeed, everyone is on equal footing under the law, and the cowards would have to retreat.

OCCUPY NEEDS TO UNOCCUPY & REOCCUPY
I support anybody’s right to protest peaceably, in this country. I am an ardent supporter of the OCCUPY WALL STREET core ideal. All 100% of us on one, level playing field.
However,…………….now what? OCCUPY has made a point but, now what?
A leaderless occupancy is not enough. Don’t misunderstand, a lot has been accomplished but, all that can be accomplished has been accomplished if, the group is going to remain just where it is, now.
A group like OCCUPY will finally be, historical with nothing to show if, it stagnates, slowly fading away. The group needs to graduate to a new level for survival.
OCCUPY needs leaders. Not in the context of being the boss but, for organizational purposes. OCCUPY needs to come together in further solidarity. There is no further action at this point. Is OCCUPY stagnating? Just fading away with nothing to show in the end for its’ efforts?
The time has come for OCCUPY to unoccupy the premises, and take a big step to reorganize, and occupy the electoral system. Take action to take the ‘CON’ out of CONgress. OCCUPY has one great opportunity to reapply for occupancy where it counts, in November, 2012.
For the first time in several decades, somebody has to make an election, issue oriented with a step by, step process accompanied by, a time line for accomplishment. The time line, and step by, step process is a contract. If not done, get out! The whole group gets out because, it will take the whole group to fail.
The American people deserve much more than playground antics, including bullying, name calling, and an emphasis on accomplishing nothing. Nothing, except for its’ largest donors.
Our CONgress currently gets paid a salary for spending most of their time on a playground. Lobbyists decide any actual forthcoming rules.
It is time for America’s government to be occupied by, the people, and for the people. All 100% of the people.

DEMOS OCCUPIED BY OCCUPANTS OF OCCUPY
We have been told how to think about the now, worldwide Occupy groups. The freeloaders, the dirty, the uneducated, the homeless, the jobless. The numbers speak otherwise.
The trusted characterization of information comes to you via our trusted members of CONgress, the media, the heresy, and conjecture of others who are bent on believing no wrong can be done by, those trustworthy individuals keeping watch over the operation, and continued function of the United States.
It comes to you from the privileged sometimes, via the least privileged. Many believing nothing can go wrong, and anyone reaching the conclusion there are criminals creating havoc with our country, its’ system of operation, and maintaining class warfare are unpatriotic for saying so. For you, don’t even bother. This blog is not for you.
We will never agree on any level. You are the ones who will stay patriotic to the people who may not be patriotic. You are patriots to people, and not a country or, its’ constitution.
I agree with all who support the continual questioning of our government so, they maintain allegiance to our laws, country, and Constitution. I agree with protesting that which may be wrong. That is constitutionally correct. It is what we are suppose to do, and patriotic to this country’s doctrines.
For those of you thirsting for more knowledge, and actually wanting to further investigate those associated with Occupy, here are some demographics to play with, though you may want to look further in to the group who has gathered these numbers.

REITERATING OCCUPY CHANGES
Occupy Wall Street needs some tweaking. The group exists now, as it first did, and must move forward as I have eluded to in my most recent posts. The Occupiers serve a definite purpose by, attracting attention to the continual class warfare policies existing in the United States, orchestrated by bought, and sold policies of the United States government.
Upon traveling to the Occupiers web page, I see a call to much of the same. Focus of attention on the existing class warfare politics, and they are issuing their edict of tenacity, despite Mayor Bloomberg‘s efforts to disperse the group. As of now, that is what the Wall Street Occupiers offer. An attention beacon.
I don’t take the tenacity for granted. I am thankful you have been duly posted to gain the attention, necessary. You have done that. Now what? Maintaining position to gain attention must only be the beginning. Now the work of literally effecting change becomes necessary for the group’s very survival, and more important the other 99%.
Instead of signs reading, ‘I will get no work in this economy,’ vow that you will despite this highly prejudicial economy. Vow to excel beyond those designing this economy. Vow to own a home despite all the ugliness, and greed. Vow to erase the limits they set.
Maintaining stagnant accomplishes nothing. The group will evaporate, with fragments drying up.
The ‘Occupiers’ have an opportunity to become a positive force but, must organize, select a leader, and plan on a dialogue that defeats those wanting to maintain the majority in the U.S.A. subject to the whims of a very few. Otherwise, the Occupiers will defeat themselves, and disappear.

I CAN BEAT YOU UP ON MSNBC
Image via Wikipedia
Just like many of the comments allowed for one thing, and another, anywhere on the internet, MSNBC’s reader comments on different subject matter seldom reaches the subject matter, and graced with, typically illiterate comments.
If you want a good example, you probably have to search the videos on MSNBC-tv.
As an aside, these comments are not exclusive to MSNBC. They are everywhere on the internet.
We have a country where you have the right to protest the way the government is run. However, according to those rough, tough, well thought out comments; If you do protest, you’re not patriotic.
‘Just go home, take a bath, and get a job.’ How profound. Really at the core of the issues.
I want to go in to a characterization of someone who thinks anything out for a negative number of seconds, if that long. The equivalent of the Junior High School backyard bully with a vocabulary of 10 words. Don’t need reasons. What’s reasons? ‘College? Heck, I never even went to High School. I got this smart all by, myself.’
Those most prolific with their comments, don’t even care about or, think about working their rear ends in to the ground at a job, maybe two jobs to bring everything together each month.
Nothing wrong with a hard work ethic. Their thoughts don’t go beyond there. Stuck. It is how they will spend their lives. Hard working, which is good, and patriotic to the system even if, it is broken, cheated upon, and maligned.
One of the problems is, most of them see nothing beyond where they are right now. It’s the way it should be, and they want all of us to settle for the same existence.
No, thank you. I still have a life time to get beyond that ridiculously, low, hum-drum existence. I have a much higher opinion of myself than they obviously have of themselves.
Let’s not dismiss those within the upper echelon who are, quite worried that they would have to become involved in a fair system, after receiving breaks few of us are allowed. They will join forces with the opposite extremes, and in fact allow them to do the work, in example with comments on the internet to keep it all, as is. So, one class is being played by, those with every intention of remaining a privileged class.
I do look at a much maligned system. Maligned by, the top players who manage their income as a privileged part of our society, and therein lies the problem. It begins with a biased tax system assisting them in shielding their income with self serving loopholes. Many of them keep more of their money than we do beginning with the CONgress.
Many leaving comments on MSNBC are obviously okay with that. Work hard, don’t care about that because they are patriotic, and they don’t complain. Taking it a step further, those in charge are allowed as much of their income as they want to take within the system. It’s patriotic.
The reason these people are content is, they haven’t even got the where with all to realize there are issues necessary to address so, the system becomes, what it should become. Fair, and equal for all of us.
If I told them, Occupy Wall Street is not asking for hand outs but, instead a group campaigning for fair play for all of us, they would respond with an inquisitiveness, and one of the lead words in their vocabulary; ‘Huh?’
By the way, the carefully, politically orchestrated Bush 2013 tax increases are on the way…..for everyone! In continued discriminatory, disproportionate amounts.
Huh? Guess I’ll find a third job…..It’s the patriotic thing to do!
