RANDOM NOTES & THE LIBRARY

05-29/2012   Today is results day!  Doctor will get results from week-end tests, and figure out how to let the air out, and otherwise deflate my foot.

05-29/2012   MLB.   :-)   The 12 game slide is over!  :-)   There was a long ball hitting fest at Wrigley, yesterday.   San Diego had several but, the Cubs had several more long balls, out of Wrigley, and on to the street.  Final, 11-7 Cubs win!

05-27/2012   MLB.   I am so proud of the Cubs.  They scored 3 runs in the 8th, and added 1 more in the 9th.  They are coming around to score in the late innings.  They give more than they get but, still…..12 losses…in a row?  10-4 Pittsburgh.  Cubs forgot to score in the early innings where that is allowed.  Somebody tell them……………….please!

05-24/2012   MLB.   Cubs?  What Cubs?  9 losses in a row. :-(   5-1 Astros.  How? Why?  I should get an award of some sort just, for maintaining status as a Cubs fan.  Then again, it’s my choice.  I’m hanging in there as the Cubs turn in to a winning dynasty!

05-23/2012   I have been told, my sense of humor may be somewhat warped.  Fair enough.  It may not be on a level field but, I can’t help it.  Told healthcare provider to change name to, ‘Humor Healthcare.’  Given the condition of my foot, walk in, and a buzz saw promptly turned on……..Dress Phlebotomy Professionals in Goth with classic Vampire vocals, expressing desire for blood.  Healthcare with laughs!

05-23/2012   MLB   Eight, that’s right 8 losses in a row for the Cubs.  2-1 Astros in yesterday’s contest.  This must stop!

05-22/2012   Saw the Doctor, yesterday.  More tests.  15 vials of blood, x-rays, and bone scan coming up just for this stupid, 6 week swollen foot.  Yes, I know a foot doesn’t have the capacity to be stupid on its’ own.  I will defeat the foot!

05-22/2012   MLB   The Cubs have now lost 7 in a row.  They are 8 games behind division leading St. LouisI declare this horrendous losing streak, over.  Hopefully, the Cubs will sync with this declaration, and not sink without it.  Note:  Colorado is 13.5 gbl in their division.

05-20/2012   MLB   This losing capacity the Cubs have, must come to a wildly fantastic, surprising finale.  There must be an end to the losing streaks, and a new beginning.  There will be a time for a pay-off, and the Cubs become a feared dynasty!  Chicago 6 Cubs 0.  That other Chicago team got 6.

05-18/2012   MLB   I can’t talk.  The Cubs came back in the 9th but, not quite enough.  Too little, too late.  It was 8-3 Philadelphia after 81/2 innings.  Cubs looked like the comeback team in the 9th.  1 short. :-(   Final, 8-7 Phillies. :-( :-( :-(

05-17/2012   MLB   It is difficult being a Cubs fan.  Help me.  9-2 Phillies over Cubs :-( , yesterday in Chicago.  Bullpen!  What does Chicago do with the bullpen?  A 6 run 9th for Philadelphia helped to sew that up for the Phillies.  At that point Cubs lived up to their previous stature, rolled up, played dead in the bottom of the 9th.

05-16/2012   MLB   Almost…..Much better than last year, no doubt but, a loss is nothing more than a loss.  6-6 after 8 1/2, as Cubs score in top of the 9th to tie.  St. Louis answered with the winning run in the bottom of the 9th.  7-6 Cards to finalize the deal.  Cubs come home for two with Philadelphia, and three more with the White Sox.

05-15/2012   MLB   Something unusual happened, yesterday.  The Cubs were leading, St. Louis, looking toward a win.  Not easy as St. Louis, tied the score in the late innings.  Last year, that was the signal for the Cubs to roll over, and play dead, handing the game over to the Cardinals.  Not, this year.  Final in 9:  6-4 Cubbies!  Two games in a row; A two game winning streak! :-)

05-14/2012   MLB   Couldn’t be happier with Cubs, yesterday.  After 4, it was a quiet 1-0 Brewers edge.  Then, the Cubs blasted across runs in every inning through the end.  It was 1-1 after 5, and 2-2 after 6.  Cubs scored 1, 2, & 3 in the 7th, 8th & 9th.  Cubs win 8 – 2! :-)

05-14/2012   Happy Birthday to my Dad who taught me a lot. :-)   He would have been 84.

05-10/2012   MLB   1 run, 5 hits.  Usually unacceptable but, I’ll take it when, the opposing team has no runs on 4 hits.  Cubs beat Braves 1-0.

05-09/2012   MLB   Kerry Wood with 14+ ERA.  No longer dependable, and can’t save the game for Dempster with a 1.+ ERA.  Braves beat Cubs 3-1.  :-(   Not too sure as to why Dempster couldn’t finish.  Perhaps, I’m too picky but, a decent Pitcher should be under 3.50 ERA.  Excellent under 3.00, and a star under 2.50 ERA.  Any Pitcher sporting a 3.50 ERA or, higher not to be taken too seriously, and should be wondering whether to seek alternative employment.

05-08/2012   MLB  The Cubs are looking, Major League!  5 runs on 9 hits to beat Atlanta.  Final 5-1 :-)

05-07/2012   Yesterday, was Kaspersky day.  As planned, all three household computer Security Systems expired, today.  Cleaned the old Kaspersky, and laced each device with the new.

05-07/2012   MLB   :-)  Cubs take 2 out of 3 from the Dodgers.  In true Cubs fashion, there were runs scored in the 11th inning of yesterday’s contest.  In true non-Cubs fashion, the runs were scored by, the Cubs.  Final:  Cubs 4 Dodgers 3.  Run production was low as the Cubs hammered out 12 hits.

05-07/2012   I’ve been nominated for another blogging honor.  :-) That is just rally nice when, people take their time to notice.  Details by, the end of the week.  Got to prep.

05-06/2012   MLB    Carlos Marmol has been relieved of closing duties by, Cubs Manager, Dale Sveum.  Sveum outlined upon notice to Marmol that, closing will be by, committee out of the pen for now.

05-04/2012   MLB.  :-(   Cubs lost, doing it as only the Cubs can do it, and they don’t have to do it that way, any more.  They don’t have to give it up in the last innings of the game.  This is a game they could have easily won.  Carlos Marmol figured in to the loss by, throwing his usual amount of balls as opposed to strikes.  Time has run out.  He either finds the groove or, prepares for an early retirement.

05-03/2012   MLB   Cubs get a 3-1 victory :-) over Cincinnati.  It took 10 hits for Chicago to get 3 runs but, Jeff Samardzija, allowed the Reds just 3 hits after an 8 day hiatus.  Marmol got a game ending strike out for his second save on the year.  It scares me when Marmol comes in to a game but, maybe he’ll find a groove.

05-02/2012   My foot is still swollen after a month.  Went back to the Podiatrist, yesterday.  Three shots to the footNo far reaching pun intended but, we are at a stand still :-) until I get some lab results.  Could be several things, including the tendinitis.

05-02/2012   MLB   Cubs didn’t lose, yesterday.  After a 2 hr. 13 min. wait, they didn’t win, either.  Rain in Cincinnati, and the game was postponed.

04-29/2012   MLB :-)   Cubs get a victory after taking a loss, yesterday.  Today’s score, a duplicate of Friday.  Cubs 5 Phillies 1.  The box: 5-8-0 & 1-2-1

04-28/2012   Mentioned prior visit to Podiatrist.  Followed instructions with good shoes replacing ‘dollar store’ shoes.  $200!  For shoes!  Who spends $200 for shoes???  I guess I did.  SAS shoes are really comfortable!

04-28/2012   MLB   Cubs 5-9-0 Phillies 1-8-0  Yesterday.  Take every win as a win.  I just said that because, I always wanted to sound like, even vaguely like, Yogi Berra.

04-27/2012   Next on my reading list; Think On These Things by, John Krishnamurti.

04-27/2012   MLB   Cubs off, yesterday.  Start a 4 game set in, Philadelphia, this evening.

04-25/2012   Why is it, Firefox has so many page finding problems, this morning?  I have to continually re-send info. for connect to chosen pages.  Looked for possible ‘proxy virus’ but, not on this computer.

04-25/2012   I had a great trip to the Podiatrist, yesterday!

04-25/2012   MLB   This is scary.  Two late inning victories in a row vs. St. Louis.  :-)

04-22/2012   MLB   The Cubs looked like a real MLB team during Spring Training.  What happened?  Simple.  They’re the Cubs!  :-(   The Cubs aren’t real!

04-21/2012   MLB   Judging from the results so far, I won’t be writing this as often as I’d prefer to write it.  :-) ‘Cubs win’ :-) 6-1 vs. Reds.  I’ll always take a win but, if you’re going to get 14 hits, make them count for something!  Run production.

04-20/2012   MLB.   Do I even need to speak about the Cubs?  Cubs need to revert to MLB spring training format of split squad games.  Cubs vs. Cubs.  You don’t think they could possibly both lose?  How????

04-19/2012   MLB.   My Son is gloating.  Cubs lose to Florida, :-( 9-1, yesterday.  Somebody, please help.

04-18/2012   MLB.   Wish Cubs didn’t play, yesterday.  They are doing what they do, every year.  Whole game being lost in 8th-9th innings.  They need a bullpen!!!

04-17/2012   MLB.  Cubs didn’t play, yesterday.  What a relief for my mind.  Action is restored, today in Florida.

04-15/2012   Note to myself.  Heed good advice.  Determine to be determined.  Focus.  Thank you, Tracie….  Everything I want is already mine.  Just realize it.

04-15/2012   MLB   Cubs lose 2 in a row.  Cubs get 3 runs on 6 hits but, Cards get 10 on 12.  Good production for St. Louis.

04-13/2012   MLB.  Cubs even brought Marmol in to finish, and the Cubs got 9 runs on 10 hits to beat the Cardinals 9-5 in St. Louis.  The decision for Marmol to finish was scary but, give the guy a chance to hit his stride.

04-09/2012   Yes, I got a media card for my camera.  Yesterday was going to be my first shoot in years.  On with the camera….off with the camera.  No batteries.  No batteries, anywhere in the household. :-)   Fine.  One baby step at a time.  It will happen.

04-09/2012   MLB   Cubs have one pitcher.  Where are the rest of them?

04-07/2012   MLB.  Has anyone made mention to the Cubs front office, it is necessary to have pitching to play the game of baseball???

04-06/2012   MLB.  Sandy Koufax is back in major league baseball in Detroit, and now he’s throwing from the right.  Not a lot of fancy pitches.  Basically two, at varying speeds, just like Koufax.  He has arrived in the name of Justin Verlander.  A pitcher this good, twice in a lifetime?

04-06/2012   MLB.  I need to maintain a calm.  It is just the beginning.  The old Cubs who, lost games in the late innings last year, came in for opening day.  Note to myself:  Really, it’s just the beginning.   Stay calm.  Breathe in, breathe out.

04-05/2012   MLB.  Opening day for 2012, World Champion, Chicago Cubs!  They play the Nationals at Wrigley, 120pm-ct.  The schedule gives the Cubs a well deserved day off, tomorrow, resuming play at Wrigley, with the Nationals on. Saturday.

04-04/2012   Yesterday, my buttons were pushed.  I was angry, and I showed it.  I wasn’t any less angry, today.  I still have something inside that wants to say ‘coward’ to male abusers.  Perhaps more to my rational self, and more to the point if, you are a male abuser, all of your ‘manliness’ is lost, at the point of impact.  Please get professional help.

04-04/2012   MLB.  Cubs end Spring with a win over the Brewers, 5-3.  I’ll take 5 runs on 8 hits.  It’s all for keeps as the Cubs have a home opener, Thursday afternoon.

04-03/2012   Yesterday was a big day for me.  I took another step.  Got an SD card for my camera.  Will I enjoy as I once did?  Have to take some other action to find out.  Insert card in camera, shoot picture.  I knew there was more to this, and it had to meet the eye.

04-03/2012   I just read a blog entry by, Living 4 Bliss that disturbed me quite a bit.  If you are a male abuser, no other term describes you any better than, coward.  Unless you get help because, you do need it,  your first, middle, and last name is, Coward.

04-03/2012    MLB.   8 Runs, 11 Hits, No errors!  Let’s go with that as a prelude to opening day, and the World Series Championship.  D-Backs – 3, 7 & 2.  Cubs with one more on the Spring schedule before the season opener at Wrigley on Thursday.

03-31/2012    MLB.   Help!  Cubs need pitching!

03-28/2012   This is very funny! :-)Really funny!  Yet, not so far from the truth.  I think I will keep this between you, and me.  Not to be shared with my wife.

03-27/2012   Presented my case to Cable One for a better baseball picture.  Gave them options.  Once again, they are involved in in-depth negotiations with WGN…..and hard as they try, can’t get to first base for the past few years…..sure, okay, whatever they say.  How about MLB-tv?  I know.  They have really tried. Cable One sure tries, to no avail at a lot of things.  No Cubs, no variety but, I do get all the Mariners games.  And you thought I was the victim of a shutout…..

03-27/2012   MLB.   Cubs win one, lose one.  It was a split squad day, yesterday.  Note to MLB:  Stop this Spring split squad scenario……..please.  It just makes squid out of a squad.

03-26/2012   MLB.   Cubs got 6 runs on 13 hits, yesterday.  They need better run production.  8 runs on 13 hits is the least they can get.  Snap out of it!

03-25/2012   MLB.   Stats for Spring.  First, the worst.  Pitching.  Cubs 28th out of 30.  Dropping severely in hitting from the best to the middle.  Fielding toward the top, to the middle.  Somebody’s got something wrong, somewhere.

03-23/2012   MLB.   How about those Cubs, yesterday?  Excellent run production.  Fielding, off.  Pitching is a whole other story, and a Front Office problem.

03-22/2012   MLB.  Tough week for Cubs.  No scheduled game, yesterday.  My son keeps quizzing me about 03/20′s game with a goofy smile on his face.  Why ever, for?

03-22/2012   Past week-end.  Put on jeans that hang on just fine without a belt.  Jeans decided to drop on their own, on my way downstairs.  Thought I might have taken a more direct route downstairs.  Double checked.  Waist won’t hold jeans, anymore.  Is my vast waist land, decreasing?

03-22/2012   District Manager in town for visit to our store on 03/20.  Really enjoy his visits.  He is a rarity who leaves any excessive ego at home, and always arrives to assist.  He visited on his birthday!

03-17/2012   St. Patrick’s Day!  My wife is Irish-American.  If we’re born in the USA, and must define ourselves by, background, shouldn’t the American part come first?  How important is it?

03-17/2012   As I mentioned prior, Tracie Louise Photography has been an inspiration to, once again take pictures.  Unexpectedly found my camera in a drawer I haven’t opened for a couple of years.  Have to get a media card, and see if there’s a passion for it as I once had, beginning in HS through maybe 25 yrs. ago.  I just realized….I could be a Sr. Citizen in some circles…in a lot of circles!

03-17/2012   MLB.  Snap out of it!  It’s beginning to look a lot like last year.  Now stop it!  Hopefully, the Cubs are using Spring to get it out of their system.  Three sequential losses.  Stop it!  I’m only asking for one World Series victory….just one in my lifetime!

03-15/2012   MLB.  My son enjoyed asking me about the Cubs, yesterday.  I prefer to look forward to, today.  I prefer to think of yesterday in the context of, ‘there is too, a tomorrow.’

03-14/2012   I forgot all about the fun I once had with a camera.  I am awe-stricken with inspiration that has brought those memories forward, once again.  I must find my camera, and make some time.  Thank you, Tracie.

03-13/2012   MLB.   Cubs beat Reds 8-6.  9 hits 0 errors.  Good run production.  Pitching is still a worry.  Reds also had good run production. :-) Cubs, 1 of 3 teams out of 30 in MLB with batting avg. of .300 or, more.  :-) Cubs, 4th in fielding.  :-( Pitching rank this Spring, 24.  1 of 8 clubs at the bottom with an ERA of 5 or, more.

03-11-2012   MLB.  Cubs have been solidifying their line-up.  Lost to the Dodgers.  Troublesome that they were shut down with no runs.  It happens….

03-11-2012   Re-designed Stocks-Funds Page with all appropriate links on that page, instead of Internet Stops.  Gives me more room to include more Internet Stops.

03-08-2012   MLB.  Cubs win, again.  1st in hitting in all of Major League Baseball as the Spring Season continues.  BA .369 which is about 40 points above San Francisco who is the nearest competitor.  Cubs, No. 4 in fielding!  Cubs pitching may be a problem at 27th out of 30 teams.

03-07-2012   One reason of many, I like my work is, everybody’s younger!  Facilitates my romp through my 4th childhood, once removed. :-)

03-07-2012   MLB.  Cubs win!  Beat Rockies, y-day.  Run/Hit production this Spring is great!  Averaging 9+ runs/game.  This is, the year of the Cubs! :-)

03-06-2012   MLBNot to worry.  Just Spring.  It’s a decoy.  The Cubs are holding back in the Spring, ready to pour it on when it counts.  Their surprise party begins first day of the season.

03-05-2012   MLB.  Did I say Kansas City?  How many years have the As been in Oakland?  Doesn’t matter.  Cubs got 10 runs, yesterday.  Good start!  Minor detail: Oakland got 12 runs.

03-04/2012   Corporate visit this past week went very well as it always does in our store.  Why tamper with a store that is by, most standards, as it should be?  Profitable.  Very profitable, orderly, and customer service oriented.  They have come up with a unique plan to stop micro-managing from the top, and giving local managers the ability to manage at the store level.  Wonder if they’re monitoring this blog…..

03-02/2012   MLB.  Chicago Cubs ‘spring’ in to action on Sunday vs. Kansas City.  Have to see if, there’s any tv coverage, available to me.

03-01/2012   MLB.  Houston Astros are slated to move in 2013.  They’re not moving to a new ball park or, out of Houston.  They will be moving from the NL Central to the AL West, if all goes as planned. That will even the score in an odd way, with 15 teams/league.

02-29/2012   Some of the corporate hierarchy will be leaping in for a visit, today.  To them, I say, welcome.  They love to role-play selling scenarios.  I do not.  My numbers speak for themselves.  They do not wear the two way radios, and always hear me saying to an imaginary friend on the other end, ‘I will be right there.’  Anywhere they are not.  So far, it has worked just fine. May they always be beyond the two way radio.  :-)

02-25/2012   Cable One is boxed in like a fortress.  You only can speak with the people who mean well but, powerless to do anything.  They managed to get the NFL network but, can’t or won’t get MLB.  Oh good, I get to watch the Mariners by, virtue of living within 1000 miles of Seattle.  Lucky me.  No offense to Mariner fans.

02-23/2012   Perhaps after getting the divorce, it’s time to change the atmosphere from dark to a little brighter.  Choco is a bold, smart theme but, it’s dark.  Time to possibly think bright, and/or light?!

02-23/2012   I got a divorce.  See today’s blog entry for details.  What the post doesn’t mean:  Divorcing from reality.  I will be watching, and there will be times to comment but, not here, not now.

02/15/2012   Case sensitive publishing is difficult, and time consuming.  This thumb will never be the same.  It’s been a year since the broken thumb, surgery pins, etc.   One complaint was all it took for me to revert back from an easier, all caps.  Turns out, the original complaint was from an elitist (see entry below this one.)

02/15/2012   Welcome!  Some blogs welcome you with a description of the blog, and author.  Once that description is completed they welcome you, even though, you’re not them.  They do, however, express tolerance for your presence on the same earth.  implication:  Not as good as me but, I’ll tolerate you.  How nice of them.  Elitists!

02/15/2012   Admittedly in to panic when, Valentine’s day is up.  Organization is at a low.  Panic, etc.  This time, I did well!  Wife fav = Sees.  Unavailable in town, except….the hospital gift shop!  Done y-day, in time.  Came home from work with, card, and Sees Soft Centers.

02/13/2012    What started the all caps script?  Habit.  Ease.  Formerly broken thumb offers no support to keyboarding but, why always the easy way out?  Why not find a way to fall in line?

02/12/2012   VALENTINE’S DAY ON TUESDAY.  WIFE LIKES SEES.  ONLY ONE PLACE TO BUY SEES CANDY IN TOWN.  HOSPITAL GIFT SHOP.  I’M GOING TO ATTEMPT A TRIP, TOMORROW.

02/12/2012   FRUSTRATED WITH INCREASING LACK OF ENERGY PAST FEW YEARS.  NEED TO WORK HARDER TO FIND AN ANSWER,

02/12/2012   NOT HAPPY WITH FUTURES COMING DOWN ALL WEEKEND.  BEARS TO STRETCH MUSCLES ON MONDAY MARKET?

02/06/2012   IT’S EVERYWHERE AROUND ME.  HATE.  HATE IS THE ONLY THING I HATE.  WHY DO PEOPLE SPEND TIME HATING?  DON’T I HATE POLITICIANS?  I DISLIKE POLITICS BUT, I DON’T HATE INDIVIDUAL POLITICIANS.  WE SEEM TO HATE IN THE NAME OF RELIGION, RACE, AND YES, POLITICS.  FINALLY, WE ‘RE ELITISTS ABOUT ALL OF OUR OWN BELIEFS.

02/01/2012  TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHY, I COULD POST PICTURES AT ONE TIME WITH TEXT CONTINUING AROUND PICTURE, AND NOW THERE SEEMS TO BE ‘A FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE.’ PICTURES CAN BE ADDED BUT, TEXT REFUSES TO WRAP TO THE LEFT OR, RIGHT.

02/01/2012  YESTERDAY’S CORPORATE VISIT WENT WELL.  I MANAGED A VERY GOOD SALES DAY.  DISTRICT MANAGER ACCENTUATES THE POSITIVE.

01/31/2012  DO CORPORATE EMPLOYERS OVER EMPLOY AT THE TOP AS THEY CONTINUE TO MICRO-MANAGE?  WE GET CORPORATE VISIT, TODAY.

01/27/2012  GOOD SALES DAY AT WORK, YESTERDAY!:-)  CELEBRATED.  NEW FLAT SCREEN TV…THAT’S EXCITING IF, ALL YOU HAVE ARE, BOX TVS!

01/25/2012  HOW DOES MY BRAIN WORK?  WHY CAN’T I TAKE MY WIFE’S ADVICE?  DON’T THINK.  SHE SAYS I SHOULDN’T TRY TO BE CLEVER BECAUSE, I’M NOT.  DID YOU SEE MY POLITICALLY CORRECT NICKNAMES ON MY HOME PAGE?  SHE SAID IT PROVES HER POINT.

01/25/2012  NO DR. Y-DAY.  HAD TO HAVE BEEN A 24  HR. FLU…..?  OK SO FAR, TODAY.

01/24/2012  I HAVE HAD SOMETHING THAT FEELS LIKE A MUSCLE STRAIN, CRAMP, TWIST OR, TIE.  CAME ON YESTERDAY WITHOUT WARNING.  BETTER THIS MORNING BUT, STILL IN PAIN. NO WORK AS I AM UNABLE TO LIFT ADEQUATELY.  HURTS TO WALK.  DR., TODAY?

01/22/2012  AN ESTEEMED SENSE OF SELF WORTH BASED ON YOUR PERCEPTION, AND VOCIFEROUS VERBALIZATION OF SOMEONE ELSE’S LACK OF WORTH MAY LEAVE YOU WITH THAT STRONG SENSE OF SELF WORTH BUT,  WITH LITTLE WORTH TO ANYONE ELSE.

01/20/2012  NOTE:  ALL CAPS LENDS TO CRISPER PRESENTATION.

01/20/2012  FORGOT WATER BILL DUE Y-DAY.  PAY THIS MORNING!  QUICK!

01/20/2012  HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ALVIN.  GOOD FRIEND FOR 40+ YRS.

01/18/2012  CONgress really irks me.  They always tread upon U.S. Citizens.  This internet legislation needs to be buried in a dirty cat box along with the idiots proposing the measure.

01/15/2012  Library.  Finish reading Ghost In The Wires, today.  Take up on re-reads of two Ayn Rand books.

01/13/2012  LibraryGhost In The Wires by, Kevin Mitnick.  Read more than 100 pages, yesterday.  I need to devote this weekend to coming to the end.  The lender of this book is being extremely nice telling me to take as long as I need.  Appreciate it but, I am taking advantage, and it has to stop.  My initial impression of Mitnick, remains.  All through the book, he describes how the excitement of hacking was the single most important thing to him, above all else including his marriage.  It was the challenge, and had nothing to do with money.  This would make a good movie.

01/13/2012  My last entry was today’s date at the bottom of the page.  Isn’t that the wrong way?  I think I’ll start putting the newest entries at the top.  Why didn’t I think of that?  I did but, it took long enough, didn’t it?

12/29/2011  Contemplating amounts to allocate from wife’s retirement….

12/29/2011  Library.  Current read:  Ghost In The Wires by, Kevin Mitnick.   I got the impression the motivation for his hacking was right but, the activity was obviously not.  No denying the intelligence from a very young age.  He would forsake even those closest to him to succeed.  Selfish.  Interesting book, so far.

01/01/2012  Library.  Must take time to finish current read.  Borrowed book.

01/01/2012  Markets can expect another flash crash according to scientists.  Many authorities turning blind eye to it.  Wonder if limit sells are enough to circumvent a total loss in that situation.  I can’t afford another flash crash.  I mean, that’s all of it.

01/01/2012  Eric Cantor on 60 Minutes.  Eric-  You’re an idiot, and so are your Democratic counterparts.  At least Mitch McConnell said it straight a few months back.  To paraphrase, It wasn’t politically convenient to cooperate.

01/02/2012  Where to re-invest retirement, profitably?

01/02/2012  Library.  Return borrowed book, today.  Not finished but, I must give my time to other matters.  This is my note to re-obtain the book, Ghost In The Wires at another time when I’m willing to make it a 2 day weekend read.

01/13/2012   I complained about my wife’s doctor having a knee-jerk reaction.  I had a knee-jerk reaction, and now it’s my turn to accept that I am now in the same group.  In another context but, without knowing the facts, I had a knee-jerk reaction, and accept the award.  I’ll go further in to it on the front page where I put Dr. Knee-jerk, and ‘the system’ up for the knee-jerk award.
