Occupy Wall Street needs some tweaking. The group exists now, as it first did, and must move forward as I have eluded to in my most recent posts. The Occupiers serve a definite purpose by, attracting attention to the continual class warfare policies existing in the United States, orchestrated by bought, and sold policies of the United States government.
Upon traveling to the Occupiers web page, I see a call to much of the same. Focus of attention on the existing class warfare politics, and they are issuing their edict of tenacity, despite Mayor Bloomberg‘s efforts to disperse the group. As of now, that is what the Wall Street Occupiers offer. An attention beacon.
I don’t take the tenacity for granted. I am thankful you have been duly posted to gain the attention, necessary. You have done that. Now what? Maintaining position to gain attention must only be the beginning. Now the work of literally effecting change becomes necessary for the group’s very survival, and more important the other 99%.
Instead of signs reading, ‘I will get no work in this economy,’ vow that you will despite this highly prejudicial economy. Vow to excel beyond those designing this economy. Vow to own a home despite all the ugliness, and greed. Vow to erase the limits they set.
Maintaining stagnant accomplishes nothing. The group will evaporate, with fragments drying up.
The ‘Occupiers’ have an opportunity to become a positive force but, must organize, select a leader, and plan on a dialogue that defeats those wanting to maintain the majority in the U.S.A. subject to the whims of a very few. Otherwise, the Occupiers will defeat themselves, and disappear.
